  1. Howell, Your pictures are fabulous! Makes me want to come to Africa!!! How far is this waterfall from your village and when you go to a place like this, how do you get there?
    It is gorgeous!

    • WOW! This took my breath away. God and Mother Nature sure do make some beautiful things.

      • It’s incredible there! If you’ve seen the movie “The Gods Must Be Crazy,” this is where the San man chucks the Coca-Cola bottle off “the edge of the world.”

    • Glad you’re enjoying my work! This is quite far from my village, up in the Drakensberg Escarpment in Mpumalanga. South Africa has a pretty good network of highways and public minibus taxis which we use to get around. If there’s a large group of us, we might hire a minibus taxi to haul us around for the day.

  2. This might be my favorite photograph in this series! Beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us.
